Objective:
“To proliferate the use of Multilingual Technology from C-DAC GIST for betterment in usage of any Information Technology related application for masses and to make available the Multilingual Tools to the users of tomorrow”.
Introduction:
Multilingual GIST PACE has been introduced in 1996 with the objective of proliferating GIST Technology for betterment in usage of IT related applications in regional languages. This programme is implemented throughout the Nation through ATCs (Authorized Training Centers) and offered to the desiring students at a very reasonable fees.

It is obvious that, to spread the use of Multilingual Technology up to each corner of the nation do require best possible infrastructure and network of ATCs to attain the objective.
In view of the objective, the process of appointment of new Training Centers will be open throughout this financial year. The undertaking signed by the New Training center will be valid only for the current year.
Procedure for appointing New Centers
- Duly filled Prospective Franchise Profile Form must be collected from all the parties interested and the same must be sent to C-DAC (ARC must keep with him a Xerox copy of the duly filled party profile form) along with the first level scrutiny report.
- C-DAC will short list the forms at its end will give approval for the centers to ARC.
- There are 3 category centers appointed such as A, B, & C depending on the potential area of the location. There are privileges and restrictions associated with the categories.
- After receiving approval from C-DAC, the ARCs must contact the aforesaid parties and collect the License Fee by Demand Draft (Demand Draft must be in favor of C-DAC payable at Pune). The selected party will receive a Provisional Certificate from C-DAC and the receipt of the License Fee received by C-DAC.
- Distance between 2 A category centers should be min 10 kms, 2 B category centers should be min. 8 kms, 2 C category centers should be min 5 kms. Distance between A & B category should be 8 kms, B& C should be 5 kms.
- On appointment, the ATC must sign an Undertaking on account of which ATC will receive the following from C-DAC:
- GIST Software kit.
- Promotional materials (brochures and posters).
- A set of course materials.
- Logo format for the signboard.
- Authorization Certificate
